Public Speaking Seminar
September 18, 2019

Student council arranged one more Public Speaking Seminar this month and presenter for this seminar was Mr. Christopher Steeves. The topics of discussion were related to workplace skill, interview tips and general public speaking tips.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Jennifer Krupa

Jennifer Krupa from "Legal Assistant" program is selected as a "Student of the month". As per her instructor, "Jennifer has an overall average of 96% she is in early every day for class. She sparks discussions and is a total team player."

Presentation by Reeves Admin Team

Immigrant Services Calgary hosted an event for newcomers with a background in Office Administration. Our reeves team emphasized on the Importance of Canadian Credentials for new immigrants in Canada.

Pizza Day!

Student council arranged Pizza Day on 20th of September, which was a great success. Students enjoyed pizzas with pop and had lots of fun!

Field Trip to Pride Parade

Child and youth students attended Pride Parade on 1st September 2019. Based on this visit the students had a debate on ethics , LGBTQ community and self exploration. It was a great learning as per the instructor and students.The main objective was to invite expert from industry so students can ask questions and understand how theoretical concepts applies in real life scenario.

Guest Lecture by Supply and Chain Instructor

Guest speaker Zaheer Khan came to campus on 19-Sept-2019 to discuss and share his experience with students about the Planning, Scheduling and Procurement of Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects in Canadian market also abroad. The main objective was to invite expert from industry so students can ask questions and understand how theoretical concepts applies in real life scenario.
